И еще вопрос: «Какой из представленных выше двух подходов в рассмотрении художественного произведения — социально-политический или философско-эстетический — предпочтительнее, плодотворнее?» Ответ позаимствуем у М.М. Бахтина, который писал, что овеществление, т. е. освещение текста не другими текстами. а внетекстовой вещной действительностью, неизбежно приводит к исчезновению бесконечности и бездонности значения. Раскрыть же, прокомментировать и углубить смысл можно лишь при помощи других смыслов (т. е. посредством философско-художественной интерпретации), отчего истолкование символических структур уходит в бесконечность символических значений.
